The new PET resin with UV protection for your single-layer packaging

LacPET™ - Light Active PET Compound - is a modified PET resin for manufacturing opaque single-layer containers with a UV-visible barrier.  It can be used for packaging photosensitive products throughout the long shelf life.

Following a number of industrial tests and filing of a world patent on this single-layer light-barrier PET, successful marketing phases on the Spanish and French dairy markets have been rolled out.

 

 

Since then, Tergal Industries has developed a full range of products ranging from a LacPET™ compound for low-level protection against UV-visibles through to a totally opaque LacPET™ compound.

This range is designed for the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries and provides protection for any type of UV-sensitive compounds such as fatty materials or vitamins.
